Novelist, intellectual, feminist icon, Bjork fan? I certainly hope so because this playlist I curated for picking up the To The Lighthouse author from the airport includes cuts from not only Ms. Guðmundsdóttir (Iceland’s finest export), but also Prince, Massive Attack, Radiohead & Missy Elliott. Part of my ongoing blog series for The Missouri Review, hope you enjoy!

Check it out! My good friend was assigned to interview author Colson Whitehead and pick him up for the airport. I jokingly mentioned that she should make a playlist for the occasion. One thing led to another and I ended up creating this, which has been picked up by the AMAZING literary journal The Missouri Review for their blogs section. Every other week I’ll be curating and commenting on what I believe to be the best playlist for driving a wide variety of writers and poets (living or dead) to and from the airport. So glad to be working with such a great publication on this.
