So I’ve been given a full hour to talk to you fine people this Saturday night @ImprovBoston Nice. I’ll be doing some stand-up comedy & storytelling and in between I’m giving 3 mini presentations about 1.) My book “Questions For Terrible People” which officially drops that same day [available for order now] 2.) My adventures in Tinder, and 3.) 1972 motion picture classic Blacula! Maybe I’ll see you out there. #ImNotAfraidToDieAnymore

I know the video quality here is very 1998, but this story is straight from the 23rd century. William Shatner was in town during Boston’s Comic Con weekend. The Red Soc did a promotional Star Trek Night where he was slated to through out the first pitch. My buddy and I went in full TNG uniforms. Boston was very…Boston. Just a quip recap of the night’s events.

If you’re going to do standup in a Star Trek TNG uniform you really can’t pick a more ideal venue than this. (Comics & Comics @ Boston Comic Con 2016)

Yup. What the title says. I have Crohn’s Disease. One Friday a few years back I felt awful, did stand-up, ended up in ICU. I’m not quite sure I can say “worth it for the story” …but I’m glad I have the story. Told this at The Moth’s Dedication-themed StorySLAM last month.
I’ll be performing on their next GrandSLAM @ The Somerville Theatre on Weds. 3/30.
