Yup. What the title says. I have Crohn’s Disease. One Friday a few years back I felt awful, did stand-up, ended up in ICU. I’m not quite sure I can say “worth it for the story” …but I’m glad I have the story. Told this at The Moth’s Dedication-themed StorySLAM last month.
I’ll be performing on their next GrandSLAM @ The Somerville Theatre on Weds. 3/30.

The Academy Awards are tonight! Boston.com put together a really cool piece on Spotlight, Black Mass, the #oscarssowhite controversy, and Boston films over time. I was very happy to be a part of it. You can check it out HERE.

This was what I refer to as a “sport coat gig”. I was very happy for the opportunity to rock the WGBH studios last week for an outstanding evening of “Holiday Horrors” storytelling with MassMouth. I was really hoping they’d let me run up on the Masterpiece Theater set… alas it was not to be. Still an incredibly rad night though!
