Saturday 5/5/18 I’m taking another 90 min solo deep dive into the endlessly fascinating modern classic “The Truman Show” at Improv Boston with my updated/improved presentation The Truman Show @ 20. You’ll laugh, you’ll reminisce, you’ll marvel at how much of a freak Christof is!!! If you have even a remote interest or fondness for the film come through as I do an overview situating the film in its late 90s origins, a scene-by-scene breakdown, an overview of the extremely rich/rewarding shooting script, and a look at economics, ethics, race, & mental health as they pertain to the film, the world within the film, and society at large.

Julia Child. Mister Rogers. LeVar Burton…Me. WOW. I’m very fortunate to be able to kick of 2018 with the FANTASTIC news that Stories from the Stage the storytelling show from WGBH, WORLD Channel, & Massmouth Inc. that I co-host has been picked up for nightly national broadcast on PBS– The show will air Monday-Friday, premiering Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. ET on all station-branded PBS platforms (check local listings) following AMANPOUR ON PBS and BEYOND 100 DAYS reaching approximately 93% of US households. I’m really proud of the show that we’ve put together through the hard work and dedication of so many talented people (with a special shoutout to my co-host Theresa Okokon) and I’m thrilled that even more people will now have the chance to see it and hopefully be inspired to share their own stories. Synopses for the first 14 episodes can be found online and we’re already taping the second round. Tune in and take care!
