Well that was fun. In my lecture 2 nights ago (part of my recurring role in Somerville, MA’s monthly Encyclopedia Show) I think I managed to say the name/phrase “Matthew Lillard” more times in a single 8 min chunk than anybody in recorded history. I consider that a badge of honor and wear it as such. It’s only right, Mr. Lillard is without doubt the criminally unacknowledged dean of American serial killer cinema and more people need to hear about it. I was happy to do what I can. I can’t say I bled for this show, but I did have to watch Ghoulies III: Ghoulies go to College, and that’s pretty damn close.

Comics and poets. Jokes and Verse. Head-to-Head in a battle royale to determine once and for all which group will claim victory in the war of words!!!
Join us on Weds. 10/16 as an amazing group composed of some of Boston’s finest comics and funniest poets comes together for an epic night, guaranteed to rock the crowd with laughter.
Performers receive 5 mins each to do their thing and each round of 1 comic vs. 1 poet will be judged by the audience on hilarity and craft. Best of 5 rounds wins.
